Advising $18 billion, the Fund of Funds team at AXA Private Equity is a leading international player in the sector. It offers its global client base a range of investment options:

• Primary Funds of Funds (i.e. investments in new funds)
• Secondary Funds of Funds (i.e. purchase of direct stakes in mature private equity funds and portfolios of stakes in unlisted companies
• Early secondary Funds of Funds (i.e. purchase of stakes in immature funds – less than 50% paid-up)

The 45 members of the Fund of Funds team are spread across our offices in Asia, Europe and North America. By taking a coordinated and long-term approach, often involving investments for 5 to 8 years, the team can generate multiple synergies (due diligence, primary and secondary activities). The key strengths of the team are the management and the access to information via database of 800 funds and 10,000 underlying companies, which allow an accurate expertise of the players of the sector.
