Mathias Burghardt joined AXA Private Equity in 2007. Previously, he joined the AXA Group in 2005 to set up and head its Infrastructure investment business. He began his career in 1989 within Crédit Lyonnais’ Media Telecom team before heading HSBC’s Advisory and Project Financing activities in France. He has 15 years of experience in the field of infrastructure financing, having created and led this type of activity in France and in Spain.
Laurent Fayollas joined AXA Private Equity in 2007. Previously, he worked for 8 years as a Director within the Crédit Lyonnais and Calyon Infrastructure and Environment teams. During those years, he gained a deep understanding and an in-depth knowledge of those sectors, while structuring landmark transactions. Before, he worked for 2 years within the Structured Finance Credit Department and for 6 years for the Crédit Lyonnais IT department with a focus on capital markets.
Rodolphe Brumm joined AXA Private Equity in 2007. Before joining the Infrastructure team, he participated in the creation of Natixis infrastructure fund. He also worked for three years in Vinci Concessions, and two years within UBS Warburg in London, where he started his career.
Benoît Gaillochet joined AXA Private Equity in 2007. Before joining the Infrastructure team, he worked for three years within HSBC’s project finance team in Paris, where he acted as advisor and debt arranger on big infrastructure projects. Previously, he worked for six years within Crédit Lyonnais in structured finance.
Before joining AXA Private Equity in 2007, Stefano Mion worked at Merrill Lynch in the European Leveraged Finance Team in London, UBS Investment Bank in Milan in the Corporate Finance Team after 3 years spent at J.P. Morgan in London. He is head of AXA Private Equity UK since 2010.
Andrew Liau joined AXA Private Equity in Paris in 2009. Prior to joining, he was the European Investment Manager within Colonial First State Global Asset Management and a founding member of their European Infrastructure team where he gained experience in transactions, asset management and fundraising. Andrew also spent 6 years within RBC Capital Markets, including 3 years as part of their Infrastructure Finance Group (London) and before that 3 years in their Investment Banking Division (Canada).
Amir Sharifi joined AXA Private Equity in 2007 as Investment Manager in the Co-Investment team then became Head of Corporate Development & Communications. In June 2010, he became member of the Infrastructure team. He previously worked for five years as a strategy consultant with Roland Berger in Paris focusing on strategy and operational improvement projects in the sectors of utilities and financial services. Amir Sharifi is member of the Board of AXA Private Equity Foundation since 2010.
Michael Reuther joined AXA Private Equity in Frankfurt in 2007 as an Investment Director. He started his career with Sal. Oppenheim & Cie in Cologne. In 1999 he joined the new established Corporate Finance Practice of Deloitte in Düsseldorf. End of 2005 he joined the Deloitte Corporate Finance Team in Hong Kong.
Marion Calcine joined the Infrastructure Team within AXA Private Equity in 2007.
Thierry Denoyel joined AXA Private Equity in 2005 as controller, direct funds where he had been in charge of the Infrastructure funds since 2007. In 2009, he moved to the Infrastructure team. Before joining AXA Private Equity, he held various internships: LVMH (Paris) and Alcan Pechiney (London).
Alexis Ballif joined AXA Private Equity in 2008 as an Analyst within the Infrastructure team in Paris where he already carried out a six-month internship. Prior to joining AXA Private Equity, he carried out various internships within Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Société Paris Ouest Construction and within Solgas in Spain.
Lorraine d’Halluin joined AXA Private Equity in February 2010 as an Analyst within the Infrastructure team in London. She formerly was an intern in AXA Private Equity Infrastructure team from June to December 2009. She has also completed various internships: SNCF, BNP Paribas and TF1.
Rosario Mazza joined AXA Private Equity in 2010. He previously spent 1 year at Generali’s infrastructure fund as an analyst and 1 year in Project Finance in BNP Paribas.
Elise Nemirowski joined AXA Private Equity in 2008 as an Analyst within the Infrastructure team. She also achieved a ten-month internship within the LBO Small Cap team. Prior to joining AXA Private Equity, she carried out a six-month internship with Capgemini Consulting and a three-month internship with France Telecom.
Gonzague Boutry joined AXA Private Equity in January 2012, as an Analyst within the Infrastructure team in Paris, after a six month internship from July to December 2011. Prior to joining AXA Private Equity, Gonzague completed a five-month internship within AXA France in the investment department.
Leonarda Orani joined AXA Private Equity in 2013 as an Analyst within the Infrastructure team in Paris. Leonarda completed an eight-month internship in Milan between November 2011 and June 2012 within the Infrastructure team and a six-month internship within the Fund of Funds team. She also spent 6 months in Vitale & Associati as an analyst and she completed a six-months internship within the M&A team of BNP Paribas in Milan.
