With a view to strengthening contacts between the business world and education, AXA Private Equity has set up a student sponsorship programme and makes effective and socially responsible contributions to non-profit organizations that are addressing important community needs, primarily in France.
In 2008, AXA Private Equity has allocated 10 grants for students through partnership with Universities for a total amount of €168,000 and a contribution of €62,000 to two non-profit organizations.

Besides the funding of these non-profit organizations, about fifteen staff members are personally dedicated to mentor some young individuals.
Frateli

Frateli was created in 2004 by young professionals concerned with social justice and equal access to education.
Frateli’s dedication is to implement a mentoring programme: high potential 18 year old students born to underprivileged families are coached by highly-skilled young professionals from various academic backgrounds. Mentors have the responsibility to help them improve their work organization, support them morally, advise them in their academic choices and then career-wise. Mentors and mentees hold one monthly call/meeting.

Un avenir Ensemble

Un avenir Ensemble, a network of « Légion d’Honneur » and « Ordre National du Mérite » recipients which are both based on a common criteria : merit.
Created in 2006, the association main’s objective is to promote an upward social mobility for young deserving high school students, issued from least privileged classes in France. The association has set up a mentoring programme to help young people who have the potential to succeed while lacking the financial, study or contact resources.
