AXA Private Equity has received reports of unauthorized persons using AXA Private Equity's name to lure potential victims into sending money to fund fictitious investments. This appears to be an ongoing scam in North America and Europe and it is being perpetrated by people who have nothing to do with AXA Private Equity.  Certain of these frauds claim that AXA Private Equity has agreed to serve as "guarantor" or as "lender" in a transaction in which the person contacted is urged to participate by sending funds. The persons perpetuating these frauds utilize various aliases and their communications may be transmitted on counterfeit AXA Private Equity letterhead.
