Activity

HISI is a holding company founded in Milan by Techint, Capitalia Merchant and AXA Private Equity to invest in both existing and future concession projects focusing on the Italian healthcare sector. HISI's objective is to assist operators developing infrastructure projects to maximize the value of their equity holdings and realize their investment by relying on a partner who – due to the presence of the Techint group - has specific skills in the construction and management of infrastructure.  

History

HISI was founded in November 2007. Techint Group holds a 20% equity stake in HISI and Capitalia Merchant and AXA Private Equity each hold 40%.

Strategy

HISI is a long-term investor in the Italian healthcare sector. The holding company owns a share in the public private partnership project for the construction of a new hospital in Legnano (Lombardie) and seeks to acquire shares in similar projects.
