Thomas Wilfling joined AXA Private Equity in 2008. Before joining AXA Private Equity, he spent more than 11 years at UniCredit, most recently in Vienna as a Director in charge of LBO, acquisition and structured financings in Eastern Europe. He started his career with HypoVereinsbank in Munich in 1997 in Global Structured and Project Financing where he conducted and later led numerous transactions in emerging markets.

Baudouin d’Herouville joined AXA Private Equity in 2002.
He began his career as a pilot in the French Naval Aviation where he also assumed several operational and managerial duties. After briefly working at the production arm of Aerospatiale Airbus, he was then responsible for the management of several international naval and aeronautical projects.

Dirk Wittneben joined AXA Private Equity Germany in October 2006 in Frankfurt as Investment Director to the LBO Small Cap Team.

Prior to BdW, He worked for four years as a senior associate in the audit department of PricewaterhouseCoopers.He gained further professional experience in the loan department of a savings bank, a consulting company and in the finance and controlling unit of Deutz AG in Stockholm.

Paolo Bergonzini joined AXA Private Equity in Milan in March 2007 as Director, within the LBO Small Cap team.
He began his career in 1988 at Arthur Andersen in Milan where he was involved in statutory audits and acquisition due diligence. From 1991 till 1993 he was Sales Director at Farmoprint, a printing company for the pharmaceutical industry. In 1994, he joined Eptaconsors, the M&A division in the Epta Group where he became Senior Analyst and in 1997 he integrated Eptaventure, becoming Investment Manager within the Private Equity team. In 2002, he joined Industria & Finanza as a Senior Investment Manager, where he participated on investments and was involved in fundraising activities.
