AXA Private Equity announces it is acquiring an equity interest in Aviccia, which specialises in solar energy.
Aviccia designs and installs turn-key solar panels on large roofs for customers backed by its combined expertise in construction and photovoltaic facilities. It is also developing a business producing renewable energies based on rented roofs, equipped and operated on its own account.
Aviccia (formerly Avenir Soleil) was founded in March 2008 and is based in Champagne (Troyes, France). The company grew rapidly and profitably. To date, it has installed nearly 2 MWc, ranging from removal of the roofing to the complete installation of the solar system. Given its buoyant market and new business it has good visibility over potential growth with a customer base made up of farmers, business professionals, local authorities and private consumers.
