Paolo Bergonzini joined AXA Private Equity in Milan in 2007 as Director, within the LBO Small Cap team.
He began his career in 1988 at Arthur Andersen in Milan where he was involved in statutory audits and acquisition due diligence. From 1991 to 1993 he was Sales Director at Farmoprint, a printing company for the pharmaceutical industry. In 1994, he joined Eptaconsors, the M&A division in the Epta Group where he became Senior Analyst and in 1997 he integrated Eptaventure, becoming Investment Manager within the Private Equity team. In 2002, he joined Industria & Finanza as a Senior Investment Manager, where he participated on investments and was involved in fundraising activities.

Baudouin d’Hérouville joined AXA Private Equity in 2002.
He began his career as a pilot in the French Naval Aviation where he also assumed several operational and managerial duties. After briefly working at the production arm of Aerospatiale Airbus, he was then responsible for the management of several international naval and aeronautical projects.

Arnaud Dufer joined AXA Private Equity in 2003.
He began his career in 1994 at Citibank as Assistant Manager in the M&A division and subsequently Manager in the Major Corporations division. Since 1998, he has been Senior Investment Executive and Investment Manager at 3i Group in Paris and Nantes.

François Jerphagnon joined AXA Private Equity in early 2001. He began his career in 1994 at CDC (Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations) where he implemented a new portfolio management model. In 1996, he joined MACIF where he progressively became Head of asset allocation and stock management.

Dirk Wittneben joined AXA Private Equity Germany in 2006 in Frankfurt as Investment Director within the LBO Small Cap team. Before joining AXA Private Equity, he was Investment Manager for BdW since 2001. He worked across different industry sectors on German mid-market LBO/MBO and Mezzanine projects. Prior to BdW, he worked for four years as a senior associate in the audit department of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
He gained further professional experience in the loan department of a savings bank, a consulting company and in the finance and controlling unit of Deutz AG in Stockholm.

Marc Abadir joined AXA Private Equity as Analyst within the team in Frankfurt, after an 8 month internship within the Fund of Funds team and BdW. Prior to his internship with AXA Private Equity, Marc studied at ESADE Business School in Barcelona for one trimester.

Marie Arnaud-Battandier joined AXA Private Equity in Paris in 2008 as a Senior Investment Manager within the team. Prior to joining AXA Private Equity, she worked during 6 years within Acto-Finama Private Equity, and within Granville Baird Investment Bank where she began her career in 1997.

Marton Hunek joined AXA Private Equity in 2006 in Paris. He started his career in 1996 as project manager at GKI Economic Research Co., a leading Hungarian think-tank, where he also co-founded GKIeNET Internet research and Consulting Ltd. He then became analyst at Roland berger & Partners (Hungary). From 2000 to 2005 he was Principal at AGF Private Equity.

Alexis Lavaillotte joined AXA Private Equity in 2005. He had been since 2000 Investment Manager with Crédit Agricole Private Equity working on LBO and expansion projects of €1M to €10M. He has been previously Analyst at Crédit Lyonnais in New York, Department Leverage Finance where he participated to acquisition and LBO operations.

Marco Molteni joined AXA Private Equity in Milan in 2007. Previously, he was Senior Associate at Finlombarda Gestioni SGR, a Venture Capital and private equity firm. From 2001 to 2005, he was Associate at Argos Soditic in Milan. He began his career at the Deutsche Bank in Milan as a Fixed Income Desk Sales Support.

Florian Korp joined AXA Private Equity Germany in 2008. Previously, he worked at Raiffeisen Zentralbank Austria (RZB) within Debt Capital Markets for corporations in the EU region and CEE. He also completed the bank’s investment banking trainee programme. While studying he spent various internships at Compass Group and Starwood.

Paul de La Morinière joined AXA Private Equity in 2008 after an internship within the Co-Investment team in 2007. He also held internships at RBS Corporate Finance and at Pictet Investment Research.

Michela Peigottu joined AXA Private Equity in Milan in 2008 as Analyst within the team where she already achieved a one-year internship.

Caroline Pihan joined AXA Private Equity in Paris in 2007 as Analyst, after a nine-month internship and a one-year internship within the Direct Funds Middle Office at AXA Private Equity and then a five-month internship within Royal Bank of Canada in Washington.

Arthur de Salins joined the Small Market Enterprise Capital team in June 2012 after a six-months internship. He also held internships at UBS and Crédit Agricole CIB.
