The group is the top distributor in France for roofing materials with more than 12% of the market. They distribute a wide range of products and services: tiles, slates, zinc and skylight windows with variations adapted to regional differences. They have a strong network of 76 branches, particularly dense in the centre and west of France.

History

Since 1946 Larivière is the preferred partner for the roofing trade: roofers, carpenter-roofers, tinmen and insulators etc. The Larivière group is a subsidiary of Imerys (world leader in minerals) since 1989. From 1995 onwards, the group has shown strong development through acquisitions and the opening of new branches thereby doubling its distribution network.

Strategy

Group strategy is to fill out coverage of its domestic market by opening new branches and acquiring local players. The group also intends continuing to improve its sales and logistics organisation.
