Emmanuel started his career in 1990 as an IT consultant at CGI Informatique
(later IBM Global Services), then as Project Manager at JP Morgan. He was
subsequently Structured Finance Director at BNP (in the telecommunications
group) before joining Boston Consulting Group as a Consultant.
Between 2000 and 2004, he was Investment Director for the private equity at
CDP Capital (Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec), where he was responsible
for investments in LBO funds and for Co-Investments. He joined AXA Private
Equity in 2005 to develop Co-Investment activities.
Hungarian citizen, Marton holds an MBA (INSEAD), an M.Sc. in Finance (Corvinus University of Budapest) and a CEMS MIM (HEC exchange program).
Marton started his career in 1996 as project manager at GKI Economic Research
Co., a leading Hungarian think-tank, where he also co-founded GKIeNET Internet
research and Consulting Ltd. He then became analyst at Roland berger &
Partners (Hungary). From 2000 to 2005 he was Principal at AGF Private
Equity.
He joined AXA Private Equity Co-Investment Team on January 9, 2006 in Paris
as Senior Investment Manager. He reports to Emmanuel Lejay.
Laurent graduated from ESSEC.
In 1998, he joined the Société Générale where he worked for two years as
analyst in Sao Paulo before moving to the Corporate Acquisition Finance Group in
Paris and London where he took part corporate structured financing of Havas,
Alstom, Eridania Beghin-Say. In 2003, he moved towards LBO deals and joined
The Royal Bank of Scotland where he was involved in various acquisitions
projects: Amadeus, Frans Bonhomme, Le Moniteur, Vivarte.
Laurent joined AXA Private Equity Co-Investment Team in September 2006 in
Paris as Senior Investment Manager. He reports to Emmanuel
Lejay.
Alexandre graduated from INSEAD and Ecole Centrale de Paris
Before joining AXA Private Equity, Alexandre worked for eight years within
The Boston Consulting Group, where he was a Principal, focusing on healthcare
and consumer goods. Alexandre also worked during two years within the Banque
Nationale de Paris in New York, as an M&A analyst.
He joined AXA Private Equity in Paris in September 2007 as Senior Investment
Manager within the Co-Investment Team.
Carole Barnay is graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Sciences Commerciales d'Angers (ESSCA), having majored in Finance.
She began her career at Arthur Andersen in 2000 as an Auditor. She
subsequently joined AXA Private Equity in 2001 and became Financial Controller
Manager of the Direct Funds department. She joined the Co-Investment team in
January 2006 as Investment Manager.
She reports to Emmanuel Lejay.
Amir graduated from ESSEC.
Prior to joining AXA Private Equity, Amir worked as Senior Consultant at
Roland Berger Strategy Consultants for four years. He was involved in
due-diligence, growth strategy, cost optimization and change management
assignments for clients in various industries, among which: financial services,
utilities, retail and automotive.
Amir held several internships, namely at Goldman Sachs Global Investment
Research in London and BNP-Paribas Corporate Finance in Paris.
He joined AXA Private Equity in Paris in April 2007 as Investment Manager
within the Co-Investment team.
He reports to Emmanuel Lejay.
Universidad Finis Terrae in Chile
Before joining AXA Private Equity, Nicolas worked as Product Manager since
2006 within Heineken. Between 2003 and 2006, Nicolas worked as Financial Analyst
for Quinenco, and as Director within Vina Tabli, both in Chile.
He joined AXA Private Equity in Paris in October 2007 as an Analyst. Nicolas
joined the Co-Investment team for a one-year employment
contract.

Before joining AXA Private Equity, Edouard founded Mediafin, a financial
strategy and communication consultancy firm since 2004.
Previously, he worked with Credit Lyonnais Securities as Financial Analyst.
In 2005, he published an essay on equity financial markets during the TMT bubble
« Analyste au coeur de la folie financière ».
Edouard joined AXA Private Equity in Paris in May 2007 as Investment
Director. He will then join the New York office in September where
he will be charge of developing the Direct Fund activities, through
co-investment at a preliminary stage. His expertise in media and internet
industries will continue to be accessed by all AXA Private Equity teams
concerned.
Ivan joined AXA Private Equity in March 2005. Prior to joining AXA Private
Equity, Ivan was a Principal in the London office of a Silicon Valley based
venture capital firm. He was responsible for investment opportunities in the
communications and semiconductor markets in Europe. Before that, Ivan was
director of M&A and business development with Lucent Technologies, NJ, USA.
Ivan started his career as manager of turn-key projects with Alcatel in South
East Asia and ran the Indonesian operations of Alcatel CIT.
Ivan earned his MBA from INSEAD and his Telecoms Engineering degree from ESO,
France.
