Christophe Florin is the new member of AXA Private Equity's Executive Board Paris, 15th September 2006.

Christophe Florin, Managing Director for Asia, has been made a member of the AXA Private Equity Executive Board, which already comprises Dominique Senequier, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board, Dominique Gaillard, Managing Director of Direct Funds, Vincent Gombault, Managing Director of Funds of Funds and Stephan Illenberger, Managing Director for Germany.

On top of his responsibilities as head of operations in Asia, Christophe Florin will be a key player in defining the worldwide strategy for AXA Private Equity.

With its subsidiary in Singapore, AXA Private Equity has already invested more than 150 million euros in Funds of Funds. Investments have been focussed on countries like Japan, China, India, Australia and Korea. The local team, including 6 staff members each offering a solid experience and background in international operations, has taken on the continued expansion of AXA Private Equity on the 3rd largest market place for Private Equity showing substantial growth.

Before joining AXA Private Equity in 1998, Christophe Florin began his career with Crédit National; he then moved to Gan specializing in Private Equity investments.
From 1995 to 1998, he worked for « Développement et Partenariat ».
With an MBA in finance (Laval University, Quebec) he has also graduated from IEP Paris.
