Sparus Software raises its first €1 million of financing from AXA Private Equity

Sparus Software introduces business enterprises to the era of « pervasive » roaming systems: access to permanent information «anywhere and anytime», in a seamless, transparent, integrated and controlled manner. The software infrastructure solution to the problem of mobility, developed and offered  by Sparus Software allows the work process and prevailing internal methodologies within an organisation or company to be extended to any type of moving, portable equipment whilst at the same time satisfying the  major worries on security breach by ensuring secured access to data and support to users.

With the rapid advent and development of mobile terminal equipments, such as interactive Smartphones and  PDA combined with offers of high speed, wireless networks by mobile operators (GPRS and 3G), there has been a marked demand from companies and their travelling managers, mobile or offsite employees for seamless, continuous applications and services to be made instantly available to them in a manner similar to those that would normally be deployed at their fixed desks and offices.

With respect to the Server, Sparus Software made the natural choice for Java Technologies (J2EE) and XML, which allows for easy integration with numerous information systems, an unparalleled portability and a robustness and reliability capable of coping with peak increases in capacity requirements. On mobile terminal equipments, Sparus Software is the only player to have, from inception, incorporated in the EverySync™ product, support capabilities for all standard protocols available on the market regarding the synchronisation of platforms - PalmOS, Windows Mobile and Symbian – and which allows, namely the deployment of mobile solutions without pre-installation of client software on the offsite equipments.

Beyond its initial activities in France and subsequently in Europe, Sparus Software is also extending its business to the Asian Market, with a subsidiary in China (Beijing) where its principal activity is the  development and integration of mobile solutions on a basis of technology similar to that developed in France.
