AXA Private Equity buys into KDP Informatique

AXA Private Equity, a major player in the capital investment field, has announced the acquisition of 40% of the capital of KDP Informatique, a company specialised in publishing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.

KDP Informatique has more than 2,500 live clients in sectors as diverse as administration, agri-foods, banking and industry in France and abroad. A large number of prestigious clients have taken advantage of KDP Informatique’s excellent products and services, which include requirement analyses and the implementation of fully operational and successful solutions. Its Vente Partner product has a multi-environment Client/Server, Web, ASP architecture that can easily be adapted to existing client applications.

Having self-financed its initial development, the company has generated operating earnings of around 35% of sales in each of the past five years. In 2002, group sales were € 3.3 million.

AXA Private Equity is investing in KDP Informatique in order to accompany the group through its next stage of development with the full support of the group’s high-quality management and the benefits of its already strong market position in France and solid financial position. 

The new shareholders will continue with the company’s existing development objectives of pursuing further growth and consolidating its market leader position by promoting partnerships with software publishers and international expansion.

AXA Private Equity now holds 40% of KDP Informatique’s total capital.
