Oxxius

Oxxius is a young innovative company that develops and markets lasers for a variety of industrial and scientific applications.

Oxxius offers a range of compact and easy-to-use laser sources. Based on patented miniaturised architecture, they offer remarkable optical performance and can be produced in volume at low cost. These lasers emit light in the visible spectrum (blue, green, yellow etc) or in ultraviolet, and are used in bio-photonics, spectroscopy, metrology and many other fields of instrumentation. Oxxius has customers ranging from research laboratories to multinational companies.

Oxxius is based in Lannion, a major centre of optical R&D, and has a German subsidiary. The company is financed by Venture Capital companies Sofinnova Partners and AXA Private Equity (Paris) and Sofinnova Venture (San Francisco).
